Well it's been almost 2 weeks since my last post which was also my first post....I have thought about posting something in this time but just wasn't sure what to post. I'm still not exactly sure what I want to post but figured I'd just start typing and hope that something came to me lol!
I have been told I am too nice.....I ask myself is there really such a thing? Or is it that some people just aren't nice enough? Maybe I am too nice but I am following the golden rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated....what happens when you are treating others the way you want to be treated but in return they are treating you the total opposite? How many times can you turn the other cheek? Cause I'll say my cheeks are rosy red and I am tired of it. I think there comes a time that you have to cut the person out that is causing you this pain. Cut them out like a cancer eating at your soul. I did that last night. I have a friend that for about a year now has just been....well....not a friend. I have an extremely hard time letting friends go whether they are good friends or bad friends that make more an enemy than a friend. This saddens me but at the same time relieves me. I feel as if a burden has been lifted and the egg shells that I was walking on are swept away.
Excess baggage is heavy. Let it go. It does feel really good.
ReplyDeleteSome people are not meant to be in our future and that's okay. I have no doubt The Lord has a lesson in here for you, that's how it works lol. You don't have to be a butt just cut them out and move on.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Amber. Sometimes it's hard, but the baggage has to go. It's better for you AND your family. I've been there and had to do that to a "non-friend" last summer. We'd been friends for 4 years. But enough was enough already. Good for you!
